My debut EP
The Start
My debut EP is called "when I break it's in a million pieces" It was released on April 8th 2022
I started writing most of the songs for this EP back in 2020. This EP was in making from March 2021. I wrote all of the songs and produced all of it in my living room and wrote it in my bedroom. My parents set up a Home Studio set up for me so I utilised it for this project
The making
I really put a lot of emotion in the process of making this. I was going through a lot and I wanted to express everything. Every single word in this EP means a lot and expresses my emotions. I loved making this record. Taylor Swift, Gracie Abrams, Maisie Peters, Olivia Rodrigo, Jack antonoff and lana del rey were my biggest Musical influences during the making of this Record. I really looked up to Aaron dessener's work during the making of this record cause I wanted that cottagecore feel to it and it really worked well. I am so glad that this all happened. I shot the artwork on my mum's phone in a nearby park where we were filming footages for my directorial debut Documentary on my brother Richard. I had no intention on putting it as the cover but it was so pretty to ignore.
